The need is urgent, and we long to see the Church rise like the Scottish thistle—RESILIENT, UNSHAKABLE, and RADIANT.

In 2008, we answered God’s call to church planting in Italy. By 2017, He expanded our call to all of Western Europe through our role as Area Leaders for Europe.
Now, nearly 70 missionaries across 15 European nations are carrying heavy loads…and they need more than distant help. They need leaders on the ground, in the trenches, and in real time. That’s why we’re moving closer.
Our call hasn’t changed…but the need has grown. And with your support, we’ll be right where we’re most needed — serving, strengthening, and standing with those on the frontlines.
While our role as Area Leaders for Europe remains central, we’re just as excited to base in Scotland—joining BMW’s team in Kilmarnock to strengthen churches, support leaders, and help replant gospel roots in a land once known as the “Land of the Book.”

Ken & Mindi Heizer have served as missionaries with Biblical Ministries Worldwide in Italy from 2009-2016 and presently as Area Leaders for Europe since 2017 responsible for nearly 70 missionaries and their families. From Scotland, they will both continue in their role as Area Leaders while also working with a team to strengthen and develop a small church plant in Kilmarnock.
